Bert Goldman

Bert GoldmanBert has managed engineering and construction for hundreds of broadcast facilities over his 30 years in the industry. He has been the Corporate VP of Engineering for ABC/Disney, Nationwide Communications, Patterson Broadcasting, and Shamrock Broadcasting as well as Senior VP of Engineering for First Broadcasting. Bert has engineered numerous station improvement projects in more than half of the top 25 radio markets. While at ABC, Bert provided engineering oversight to over 100 stations, developed the Company’s acquisition strategy, and was responsible for all related budget requirements.

Bert is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), and is an associate member of the Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers (AFCCE). Bert has been active in broadcast industry organizations including the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC), North American Broadcasters Association (NABA), and the Ad Hoc Forum on AM Directional Antenna Performance Verification and has written several articles for the industry trade press.
